Elbow & Ankle Injuries
Dr. Andrew D. Pearle has been a team physician for the New York Mets organization for over 5 years. Assisting in the care for hundreds of elite throwing athletes from both the major and minor league systems gives Dr. Pearle a unique perspective and expertise on elbow injuries. In addition, after completing a sports medicine fellowship, Dr. Pearle traveled nationally and internationally for additional training in sports ankle injuries. In addition to using the latest arthroscopic techniques, Dr. Pearle has published articles on the use of computer navigation for ankle conditions.
Dr. Pearle treats sports conditions of the ankle and elbow. He has a special interest in treating biceps tears of the elbow, tennis elbow, and elbow injuries in throwers. In the ankle, Dr. Pearle specializes in surgery for Achilles tendon rupture, ankle instability, and osteochondral ankle issues.
