Biceps Surgery

Irritation of the long head of the biceps tendon can cause pain at the front of the shoulder, especially during lifting or overhead activity.

Why It Happens

The tendon travels through a narrow space inside the shoulder and can become inflamed or frayed over time.

How the Procedure Works

If nonsurgical options are unsuccessful, arthroscopic surgery is performed to release or reposition the tendon and reduce mechanical irritation.

Recovery Expectations

Rehabilitation focuses on restoring motion, improving comfort, and gradually returning to normal activity.

The Goal

To relieve pain and improve shoulder function.
